Recently, we had a wonderful stay at Montinho in the Garden studio 1. If you prefer a smaller property, in a quiet location, yet very centrally located to do a lot of trips, Montinho is your best pick in the Benagil area. We loved the tranquility, privacy, the very complete and comfortable studio, the wonderful pool area and the great location near beaches, nice towns, shops and great restaurants. And above all the friendliness and service by the owners, René and Saskia, who made us feel especially welcome and at home. Thank you René and Saskia for all your tips and for making our stay one to remember. We certainly hope to be back in the future!

Perfect in every way Beautiful property that is quiet and peaceful - the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The room was extremely comfortable. Montinho are wonderful hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed and also gave some fantastic recommendations. Very happy I stayed here. 100% recommend!

Perfekt! Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei Saskia, René. Wegen der Corona-Krise waren wir nun Anfang August quasi die einzigsten Gäste, so dass wir alles für uns alleine hatten und die volle Aufmerksamkeit von Saskia und René. Es gab viele tolle Tipps von Saskia und außerdem lieh sie uns manchmal Sachen, um zum Strand zu gehen. Wir haben uns auch ihre Tipps von der Website immer zu Herzen genommen und sind ausschließlich in die von ihnen vorgeschlagenen Restaurants gegangen; wir wurden kein einziges Mal enttäuscht. Das Montinho liegt etwas abgelegen von der Hauptstraße, doch trotz allem sehr zentral und mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell überall. Man ist in 3 Minuten in Benagil am Strand, in 5–10 Minuten in Lagoa zum Einkaufen und in 1 Stunde in Sagres . Nach Faro sind es ungefähr 45 Minuten. Unsere Erwartungen wurden wirklich übertroffen und wir würden immer wieder bei Saskia und René buchen, da sie bislang auch die nettesten Gastgeber waren die wir kennengelernt haben. Danke an die Beiden 🙂

Es war ein Traum. Saskia ist ein wunderbare Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind absolut modern eingerichtet. Die Betten super bequem. Im Aussenbereich gab es zwei Kühlschränke die mit allen notwendigen Snacks und Getränke gefüllt waren. Einfach in ein Buch eintragen was man entnommen hat und am Ende wird's einfach bezahlt. Bequemer geht's wirklich nicht. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Entfernung zu Benagil sind nur ein paar Minuten. Alles zusammen: Unterkunft und Personal hätten mehr als 10 Punkte verdient ???

We had a wonderful stay at Montinho and would highly recommend for a relaxing break on the Algarve. The B&B is beautiful with a lovely deck and a great pool - which we always had to ourselves (there are only 3 rooms, so a maximum of 6 adults staying at any one time). Saskia was a wonderful host, providing a delicious and varied breakfast each morning and happy to help with any recommendations for restaurants or other things to do in the area. They also loaned us their body boards to help with the swim out to the Benagil cave. And the well stocked honesty bar was a lovely touch. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped and the location is excellent - very close to lots of great beaches and some lovely restaurants. We were very sad to leave.

This is a great and peaceful place to stay at the busy Algarve coast. Everything was top! Enjoyed the hospitality of the nice, sweet and helpful hosts. The room is beautiful with a giant bathroom. You have your own private terrace. The beautiful laid out garden has a lot of possibilities to sit down and relax. The rooftop terrace is wonderful. The swimmingpool is lovely. The location is very peaceful and quiet, yet close to some beautyspots along the coast. Every morning the breakfast was delicious and surprising, with creative touches. Top experience!

Relax...Semplicità...Cortesia Struttura eccezionale, pulita ed accogliente! Un piccolo gioiello immerso nella natura tra le colline di Benajil. Camere spaziose ed estremamente curate e pulite. Spazi comuni deliziosi e curati nel minimo particolare. Ci sono solamente 3 stanze e questo garantisce serenità e relax. Vi è una piscina esterna a disposizione, un patio per la colazione ed un’area relax sul tetto. La cortesia di Saskia la proprietaria è unica. Vi consiglia e vi coccola durante il vostro soggiorno; la colazione anche quella spettacolare. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura. Un punteggio pieno a questa splendida coppia Saskia e suo marito! Unici! Complimenti! Ritorneremo sicuramente perché ne siamo rimasti colpiti ed un pezzo del nostro cuore è rimasto lì!

Just perfect, Rene and Saskia are wonderful hosts, they made us feel very welcome and there home is beautifully set out. With only 2 double rooms and 2 studios you have plenty of personal space both inside and out. A good sized pool to cool down after you have taken in some Algarve sun. Bedrooms are very spacious with your own balcony, very comfortable bed, everything is thought out for your stay. Would highly recommend, we will be returning.
